Dr. Andy Brien is a native of Mendenhall, MS. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and he received his Subspeciality Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine from the ABOS in 2016. He specializes in the treatment of shoulder, knee, & elbow injuries to include ACL and meniscus tears, cartilage injuries, rotator cuff and labral tears, and other sports related injuries. He received his fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where he assisted in the care of the Houston Texans, Astros and collegiate athletes. He graduated from Belhaven College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha & was awarded the Most Outstanding Orthopaedic Medical Student.
